Life's Healing Choices ( Fall Series) - Did you ever eat or drink more calories than your body needs? Do you ever feel you ought to exercise more but don't? Do you ever know the right thing to do, but don't do it? Do you ever fail at something and know it's wrong, but you do it anyway?
If your answer is yes to any of thee questions, then you have some company. For all of us in the journey of life have hurts, hang-ups, and habits we must deal with., Jesus said, "It's not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick." (Mark 2:17) That's why he left home, to minister to those who were hurting and needed his healing touch.
At Medina Community Church we're sincere about helping people deal with their problems in a healthy, biblical way. In the next eight weeks we're going to explore how to find freedom from our hurts, hangups, and bad habits. I'm looking forewardr to a time of challenge for my own walk with the Lord, as well as providing help for those who know they need recovery.
Te goal of this series is not simply to help people recover from their pastsins and hurts. The goal is to teach individuals to make healing choices that will help one become Christ-like in characater. We'll be looking at the beatitudes, for in this teaching Jesus communicates God's blessings to those who realize their need for help. When we reach the end of our rope and give up our self-sufficiency, God can powerfully do His work. For God is all about bringing healing, growth, and maturity to our lives.
